Riding Munga for TacTrack K9 & the WOOF Project

A deep passion for dogs and mountain biking motivated me and long-time friend Pieter Du Preez to ride the Munga, the toughest single stage MTB race on earth to raise funds for Tactical K9 Africa(Western Cape Branch) and the Woolf Project, Pieter invited his Epic Legends Partner, Denzyl O'Donoghue, to join us, so now the Epic Legends and the Cape Epic Last Lioness is joining forces to raise money for our four legged friends in need.

Donna lost her job during lockdown and decided to follow her passion and work with dogs whilst serving the community and joined Tactical K9 Africa and sign up her beloved Bruce and Inka after establishing her company TacTrack K9. Bruce and Inka has been trained and certified by Tactical K9 Africa to assist in the recovery of lost and stolen good, drugs and missing persons. The money raised will go towards purchasing Kevlar Bullet Proof vests for tracker dogs, to protect them as far as possible against knife attacks and bullets.

The charity of the Belgium Melinois dogs, has opened a Back 'n Buddy account where people can donate: https://www.backabuddy.co.za/tactical-k9-africa

The Woof Project, is NPO initiative by Oscars ARC, founder Joanne Lefson started the Woof Project to help healthy dogs that do not have homes to find a great home. Part of the funds raised will go to The WOOF project to assist with their expenses for vaccinations, food and other costs in ensuring that these wonderful loving loyal beings remain safe and healthy until they have found their forever home with a caring dog loving family. The adoption process is very easy. If you are looking for a companion, contact The Woof Project: 081 347 0784 or visit https://oscarsarc.org
